The first chord progression I learned on guitar was the 12 bar blues. I have probably spent a measurable percentage of my lifeĀ jamming out the blues live, at open mics and for fun with friends.
I remember when I was a kid wishing I had some great background tracks to practice improving blues licks over instead of just a simple acoustic track I recorded myself. So I figured that allot of people might also like that!
This new original blues/rock track is called “The Boom Born Blues”. It is an instrumental 12 bar blues in the key of A with a full band of electric guitar, bass and drums.

You could also use this as a commercial music bed, backing track, in slideshows, corporate presentations, website background, on hold music, podcast intro, YouTube video or student film score and any other production you want to. Or you could add vocals and a solo to make it a song.
If you are new to video production then the easiest way to add this audio clip to your video is by editing it in Windows Movie Maker which is a free program. You can also edit your home movies with simple cut and paste, the program is really easy to use.
I was reading this and working on a corresponding image when I was inspired for the title of this tune:
“Discover that the decomposing tree trunk and rotting leaves not only give birth to new life, but are full of life themselves. Microorganisms are at work. Molecules are rearranging themselves. So death isn’t to be found anywhere. There is only the metamorphosis of life forms. What can you learn from this? Death is not the opposite of life. Life has no opposite. The opposite of death is birth. Life is eternal.” – Eckhart Tolle
