1. Istrumental Music MP3 Download Version of My Free Songs

I recently used Jam Studio to create the music for several songs that I had laying around. Since then I received inquiries for istrumental versions and I have been getting emails from people around the world who are using the tracks in everything from corporate multimedia presentations to non-profit videos for charity. You can get them all on my home page here.

If you need to edit these tracks thats fine, you can use them in any way you want.  I suggest the free software called Audacity since it does basically all the things that any professional sound editor like SoundForge does.  The only difference to me is that the interface is not a slick, but its free.  You can cut up the tracks and add in and out fades to fit the length you need for your project.

Of course you can also download the MP3 tracks just to listen to since they are really complete songs without vocals.  If you have any questions about sound editing or a suggestions for an article feel free to contact me.

  2. My Production Music Library Catalog Free for the New Web Market

A company that owns the masters to music used in tv, movies, radio and other entertainment media is called a “music library”. A music library is a little different than a publisher in that the business owns all the rights to the music and does not share copyrights with a songwriter or composer.

As you can imagine working with a music library is much easier for a media producer because there are far less licensing issues to deal with. It sounds complicated, but in reality anybody with a few hundred professionally made tracks could start a music lbrary and provide production music.

In fact, you could call my site a music library because I make my music catalog available here for easy use by anyone under the creative commons attribution license. I may not have as many tracks as other businesses, but that doesn’t stop people from using the songs in YouTube videos, PowerPoint presentations and many other uses that continue to surprise me!

The Internet continues to level the playing field not only for record companies, but for providers of instrumental and background music for television, films and new media like flash games and videos. The Internet has also opened up a whole new market of buyers of ryalty free music as Internet Marketers, Webmasters and Podcasters have a huge need for it too!

So that’s my little informative piece on production music. All the best with your project and let me know what your up to!

  5. Free Music for Video Use for Personal Clips on YouTube and Montages

If you want to create a video for a wedding, retirement or other personal event you may be wondering if using copyrighted music for personal videos is this wrong. The answer is no, but only if the artist or record label gives you permission. However, if you put a YouTube video online that uses copyrighted music it will most likely get removed.

Using Creative Commons Music for Personal Videos

That why I put all my music under the creative commons license, which means anyone can use it as free music for videos on YouTube or for personal montages. I just ask that you credit my Website DanoSongs.com. You can download all of my music as MP3 files from my homepage or instrumentals blog post section.

    Sky Scott Wedding Video Example

A great example is Sky Scott who is a professional wedding and fashion videographer. She found my site and picked one of my songs to fit with her “Trash the Dress” artsy Hollywood style wedding video demo. The idea is that the couple gets dressed up and acts like movies stars for the day. It’s really cool because the song feels like a sound track when watching this video.  The imagery is beautiful and it’s a such a unique approach to a traditional event.

You can get in touch with Sky through her Website at http://www.skyscottvideography.com.au
